10 HOT 'NEW INS' OF THE WEEK,

After a couple of hard weeks at school, no social life and tests, tests, tests. I have literally had no time to pop to town or even look online at the new hot trends that have appeared on the high street this month (and January). But with a lovely cuppa by my side I figured it was time to whip the laptop out and take a sneaky peek at the new arrivals and collections from my favourite high street superstores

10. Rekindled love for New Look

Although number 10 on my list, I personally think that this dress is super adorable and definitely takes me back to my roots. It's perfect for school wear or just a general day out shopping, and yes the weather hasn't been helping (rain rain go away come back another day) but paired with (like the model) a pair of black boots and black tights (or even colour skinned tights), a baggy denim jacket and loose scarf creates the perfect effortless yet stylistic look. Hot to trot!!

9. Iconic

H&M - Necklace £7.99

Accessories are essential and the trouble is (from my own experience) finding a necklace that goes with what I'm wearing is just tiring. But when I've run out of ideas the gold chain is my saviour. Chunky/slim/small, whatever the size, there is nothing wrong about a gold chain. Place it around your neck and it does the job for you. Stress free!!

Yellow (also black) H&M shoulder bag - 12.99

Yellow (not the best colour) but this bag just seems to scream sophisticated (and bright). Also ranging in black this affordable and classy shoulder bag would be perfect for a day out in London (or city) during the day, when you're off for lunch or a quick shop. It's practical, a little bit risk-a-y but goes fab with an all black look outfit or even 'teal'. Bright and colourful ready for spring!!

7. A little bit out of my price range I must admit, but Zara's collection is simply to D.I.E for and even if the price just screams (NO!!) fear not because use it as your inspiration. Number 8 on my list is  this:

Every woman/girl needs a black dress in their closet and I just happen to have fallen madly in love with Zara's 'chain on the back' dress. It's such an unusual piece, but strictly chic. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two or an elegant 'black tie' event. The chained back just adds a sense of adventure but keeps the elegant look in tact. (add to it a set of silver 'wow' rings, and you're good as gold - or should I say silver).

6. Be Bold

Topshop - Folk Jacquard Aline Skirt - 34.99

I'm loving how Aline skirts are in at the moment and I admit the price range is kinda hard to believe but never mind that. It's a number 6 on my list because  of the quirky, beautiful and bold patterns. Paired with a white blouse or even a simple black high-neck top, it's definitely a HOT pick of the week. 

5. Wild at heart?

White animal print wild t-shirt - 15.99

Never been a fan of animal print I must confess but if you're looking for a casual, top that reflects you as a person then I'd go for this 'Wild - since you were born' River Island top. Perfect for those with sass and a sexy attitude towards fashion. A pick perhaps for that chic biker look. The eye  striking leopard prints paired with a leather or (in my case) leather look-like skirt and heeled black laced boots, definitely add the S-to the (ass).

4. Feel sexy, look sexy.

Missguided.co.uk - Spela Cowl Black Palazzo Jumpsuit - 34.99

Let's just take a moment for whoever decided to create the most daring yet attractive look ever, backless (dresses, jumpsuits, anything really). A favourite picked out by a Risha. The jumpsuit (from Missguided.co.uk) highlights the models figure and the back drop adds a whole lot of sexyness to it. It's eye alluring and I just can't keep my eyes off it, paired with ankle strap heels and a simple chunky gold bracelet, would do the trick.

3. Now after looking at NY's fashion week photos (although not exactly a high street brand and i'd definitely have to sell my soul for this outfit) but getting to the point. I praise Katie Holmes for her classy pick:

I'm (repeating myself) In Love with Katie Holmes choice of a red ultra-sheer Marchesa 'Notte' cocktail dress at New York's Fashion Week. The laced, beautiful design simply adds a more in vogue and simplistic look. URGH, I want!!

2. Shoes are made for walking...

 

White Leather Buckle Strappy Open Toe Wedges - New Look 49.99
I could never afford these in reality but right now all I'm doing is fantasising about walking around in these monochrome wedges. I'm kinda lost for words of how to describe them. They're the perfect pair of wedges to wear effortlessly with jeans. The retro look of the wedges as well as the buckle fastening really give the shoes a casual yet swanky effect to them. (still trying to find words to describe them). Take me back to the 80s!!

1. Eye of the tiger.

H&M - Satin Jacket 39.99

This  jacket in pleated satin is most certainly an I popping piece. Although not entirely suitable to wear when out in the day. The 3/4 length sleeves add to the high-class look and I'd say posh enough to wear for an evening out. The effect of the material adds a uniqueness to the jacket and a shininess to the colour. Just pair it with a painfully striking pair of silver or even (black) pair of high ankled strap heels and you could give the cast of Made In Chelsea a run for their money.
