Knock Knock 'It's Chance'.

I swear trying to keep up with writing a blog is extremely tiring, and although I've attempted to write a few blogs over the past few days I seem to be end up watching the next episode of suits, which by the way is a must watch!

I've come to the conclusion that my blog isn't just going to be focused on fashion anymore. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the latest trends, following the latest issue of Vogue or Elle as well as sitting watching Fashion Police, but I love a lot of other things; films and sports just being two of the hobbies I have. I decided that from now on I'm going to blog about everything and anything. It's a really great way to master and release those negative (some positive) energies with the touch of one button, and for people who experience the same things as you, to read and enjoy it. (Just to clarify I will be continuing with my fashion blogs, they're just too much fun).

As an aspiring journalist or some type of writer, I figured blogging was the way to go. It's fun, relaxing, entertaining and sometimes it can be rather tiring (or I'm just super lazy). Nevertheless, it's a way to explore the different opportunities that social media/networking sites have to offer. I have no clue what I want to study in university or what I really, realistically want to do after my time in higher education but I figured if 'writing' is path I want to follow, then blogging about my relatable experiences, fashion and all other things is how I'll find out if it's a true passion of mine.

I suppose this is kinda of a calling to others who have wanted to try something completely different. Time and time again I've heard people say they want to start blogging, have a photography page or do cooking classes but nothing ever gets done. CONFESSION I've made about one hundred blogging accounts, and I wonder whether they'll actually be a day when I suddenly remember the password to my first blogspot account or tumblr. However my point is I finally did it, and I enjoy every single minute I spend blogging  and although it all sounds like a bunch of crap because well I am an (amateur) there's nothing more fulfilling than having your best friend or your mum tell you how much the enjoyed your latest post (whether they're lying or not).

So this blog of the month (seeing as A-levels are taking up blogging hours) is really about taking on new opportunities. Doing the one thing that you've wanted to do for ages but never have. A few weeks ago I finally had the guts to share my first blog on Facebook and the reaction I got made me super happy. So do yourself a favour whether it's buying your very first pair of stilettos to wear to a party or doing a week of work experience for the first time. Take up the opportunities that have been offered to you because (insert cheesy quote) you'll most probably never get the opportunity again. I know it's rather daunting because there's always the possibility of facing disappointment but  ''Opportunity often comes in disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat''. If it didn't open up anything new for you, then try the one next door (did this make sense? sounded rather cool in my head).

'If opportunity doesn't knock, then build a door' - Milton Berle

Remember opportunity comes in all different shapes and sizes, just like those newly purchased Jimmy Choo shoes.
